STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE is a high quality self-shine polymer polish for regular maintenance, used to provide a protective high-sheen surface finish.

Uses:
· Provides the best results when applied to already sealed natural stone, marble, travertine, limestone, slate, terracotta, unglazed ceramics, cement and vinyl tiles.
· STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE can be applied over most STONESHIELD sealers.
· Can be used as a pre-sealer prior to grouting on polished porcelain and textured ceramic tiles.
Coverage:
Must be applied undiluted, onto a dry surface. Approx. coverage over an existing area should be between 15 m2 - 20 m2 per litre depending on method of application. Minimum 2 coats required.
Expected wear:
Will vary depending on the number of coats, traffic, area, maintenance method and use of aggressive cleaners. Expected wear up to 1 year.
Method of application:
Always test on a small area first to ensure suitability and desired result. Unsealed surfaces should be sealed and left to cure for at least 24 hours prior to using STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE. Can safely be applied onto most sealers such as STONESHIELD QUARRI-SEAL, SANDSTONE SEALER, QUARRI-SEAL MATT, H2O SEAL & SHINE and PROTECTA PLUS. Ensure that the tile surface is clean, dry and sealed. Using a clean lambswool applicator, sponge or mop, apply a thin even coat in one direction. Do not allow pooling or bubbles to form. Three thin coats will ensure a better finish than 1 thick coat. Allow 30 minutes undisturbed drying time between coats. STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE can be buffed after 24 hours using a floor polisher and white floor pad to increase the shine and durability.
Cure times:
Allow foot traffic after 4 hours. Keep floor area dry for 12 hours. Full cure after 24 hours.
Maintenance:
Only use STONESHIELD DAILY-CLEAN to prolong the life of the coating. Re-apply STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE as often as required as long as the surface is clean and dry. STONESHIELD PROTECT & SHINE can be stripped using STONESHIELD WAX-OFF.
Limitations:
Do not use externally or in areas of standing water or in areas where water could create slippery conditions. Store and use product between 16° C and 32° C.
Precautions:
Avoid skin and eye contact. Keep out of reach of children and pets and store away from other chemicals. Do not allow contact with other sensitive sufaces. Not recommended as a finishing sealer over glazed ceramics and porcelain tiles.
